Walking In Sydney: N-S-E-W
Map, (59.7 x 42 cm, archival photographic paper) this is a photocopy of a map from the Sydway, Greater Sydney Street Directory, Edition 15 (2009) that has been scanned and printed as a photograph. It is a map that is not a map.
Window-Grid, (42 x 42 cm, archival photograph): This is a section of a photograph made from the forecourt of the Queen Victoria Building looking south. The lines and their distortions echo the visual language of maps yet this is a photograph of a building.
